Leprechaun Hat and Beard / Wanted Poster

If you are like me, you want your classroom to look cute, but you don’t want to spend a ton of time and money in the process.  This March kindergarten bulletin board idea is super simple and always a huge hit.  I have been doing it for almost 20 years and I always get compliments.  The product includes all the templates you need to make the leprechaun hat and beard craft  as well as the the wanted poster. You can grab it HERE.  Below are some examples from my class this year. Their responses are priceless! “Last seen at the White House. Wanted for painting a green beard on Abraham Lincoln” (Clearly we learned about him last month). And “Last seen in an Escape Room.  Wanted for stealing all the clues.”

I create the hats early so that I can make the wanted posters, but I have the kids wear them home on St. Patrick’s Day.  Talk about cuteness overload as all the leprechauns walk out of school for dismissal!

When I am finished with my March classroom bulletin board, I always save the wanted posters for memory books that I put together and distribute at the end of the year.  I hope you find this helpful!
